It's snowing again!!
We woke up to about an inch of snow on the ground this morning. Most of it here is gone now, but it's still snowing off and on. We're supposed to have more precipitation this evening (don't know yet if it will be snow or rain) and then it's supposed to freeze tonight and stay below freezing until Friday or Saturday. Do you know what you get when snow melts and then it freezes??
ICE!!!!!!!!
UGH! I'm so not looking forward to being locked up in this house for days on end again!
We have scrapbooking (11th Hour Scrappers) at church Friday night. I started this group in July. I had really high hopes for it considering that our church has over 3,000 in attendence on Sundays. I figured that it would be a big group! Well, since July we've met on the 2nd Friday night of every month and at most I've had 7 there including me!!! I keep praying that our little group would grow! I thought that this would be a great opportunity to meet more of the ladies in the church, however the only girls coming are girls in my life group. Don't get me wrong, they're a GREAT group of ladies, but I want to meet some more!!
Anyway, the church put an add in the bulletin for the last 3 weeks and it was a really nice add, a good sized one too! I've had contact from 10 new people this week! I'm so excited!! I can't wait to meet these new women! One of them is even from Texas!! Yahoo!! So, wouldn't you know that the weather wouldn't cooperate??? I may have to cancel due to frozen roads!! I finally got some other women interested and I may have to cancel it! Bummer!!
Also, we have an appointment to go see a house tomorrow night (that we may not get to go see). Pray this is the one! It looks really great on the web. It's a little smaller than this house but it's in this same area and we really like that about it. We really enjoy being in Sammamish and don't want to leave if we don't have to!
Ok, I'll leave you with another picture. I took this mid December before Community Bible Study. The boys were going to be singing with the rest of the kids before the lecture. It was so cute! They even sang Happy Birthday to Jesus!
